Challenge:
Budget is limited to just US$ 3,750 dollars.
The time you spend in the country you visit must be at the very least one full week (calender week) in the country. This does not count travel days.
You have to visit (stay over night) in at least two locations.
You must budget for pre-trip expenses from the funds above if they exist, i.e. inoculations for disease, visas, insurance etc.
Final Product:
Any format, but must contain:
A detailed travel itinerary which provides detail as to costs etc.
A description of tourist sites, places of interest, and things to do where you are going.
Budget for at least one souvenir which is particular to the nation you visited.
Provide pictures of each place you will visit, i.e. tourist sites, beaches, jungles, cities etc.
A map of your trip. This map must follow the same idea that is presented here on Google Maps Tutorial. Watch this tutorial. It explains how you can make a map(s) that you will show for your trip. This is pretty fun stuff. Be sure to insert some notes, pictures, or even video along that route of your trip.
A statement (200-250 words) of why you chose that particular country and the places in it to visit.
A statement of the dangers/challenges of travel in that nation or area.
All costs associated with this trip, i.e. visas, inoculations, medications etc. are to be identified in the budget.
